RNRF Secures Deep Water Port Land at Coega, Port Elizabeth

The directors of RNRF Ltd are pleased to announce that a lease for an 80-year term has been executed with the Coega Development Corporation (CDC). The land comprises two adjoining 20 hectare sites in the new Industrial Development Zone at Coega in Nelson Mandela Bay, Port Elizabeth. The site includes a servitude from the main shipping wharfs allowing RNRF dedicated supply and receipt of goods directly from/to the industrial sites.

David Dossor appointed to Board of RNRF

RNRF Signs with Technology Partner and Equipment Supplier Desmet Ballestra

RNRF has concluded a contract with Desmet Ballestra world leaders in the supply of Oilseed Crushing and Biodiesel Refining Technology. Desmet Ballestra will supply RNRF its state-of -the-art, proprietary plant technology at RNRF’s Coega Operations. The contact includes the supply of a 4000 metric tonne per day Crushing and Oil Extraction plant, and a 750 metric tonne per day Biodiesel and Pharmaceutical Glycerine Refinery. The plant will be a continuously operating facility. Desmet Ballestra will provide the main plant and equipment, and engineering supervision of the installation and commissioning, as well as the operational technology. Completion is scheduled for the second half of 2009.

E+PC Appointed by RNRF

RNRF Ltd appoints Engineering & Projects Company Ltd (E+PC) to supply preliminary engineering design and project management for the Company’s Agroprocessing development at the RNRF Coega site in Mandela Bay on the eastern seabord of South Africa. The agreement provides RNRF to extend the appointment to an Engineering, Procurement & Construction Management (EPCM) contract. E+PC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Aveng (Africa) Ltd and brings to the operations, broad contracting expertise and a wealth of experience for the delivery of large scale projects in Southern Africa.
Gary Farr appointed Agricultural Technical Manager

RNRF is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Gary Farr (B.Sc Agriculture) to the soybean development and procurement team at Coega. Gary brings with him 27 years of agricultural expertise in Southern Africa, with particular strength in plant breeding, plant health, and optimising fertilizer and agricultural chemical applications.
